Some people never really leave Westminster—and that’s especially true for Lindsey Welch.

After spending six years on staff running our food pantry and soup kitchen, Lindsey continues to serve as a dedicated volunteer, bringing the same compassion, energy, and deep love for our neighbors that she always has.
Lindsey describes Westminster as “near and dear to my heart,” and it shows. From the joy she sees on neighbors’ faces to the special bond she shares with our team, Lindsey's connection runs deep.
One of her favorite traditions? The annual Christmas Basket distribution. For six years, Lindsey led the charge on this beloved program, calling it the “best day ever.” And even now, she continues to help bring that magic to life each holiday season.
When she’s not volunteering, Lindsey is all about family, fun, and the outdoors, spending time with her husband, three daughters, and extended family, catching a sports game, or enjoying a weekend camping trip.
We’re so grateful for Lindsey’s continued support and heart for this work. Westminster is better because of her and we know our neighbors feel it too.
Ready to make a difference? Whether you have a few hours a week or just want to get started, there’s a place for you here. Sign up to volunteer and become part of the Westminster community today!
