Family and Adult Services

The Family and Adult Services program assists residents in the Westminster community who are struggling financially. The food pantry, soup kitchen, and Gennesaret Free Clinic, all provide families with basic needs.

food pantry

Twice per month, neighbors that reside within our service area can select items from the food pantry. If that neighbor is not in our service area, we will serve them one time, and work to connect them with other resources.

Soup Kitchen

Westminster’s soup kitchen provides a hot nutritious meal to over 1,000 individuals each month in a friendly atmosphere with no eligibility requirements. Those that we serve include homeless, low-income, adults, children, and families. All meals are provided by Second Helpings and paired with food from Panera Bread, Kroger, Whole Foods, Aldi, and many others.

Operating Hours

Senior shopping day

On the third Wednesday of each month, a special food pantry day is devoted to those 55 years and older living in Marion County. The Senior Shopping Day includes both the food pantry and soup kitchen.

Operating Hours

Westminster’s goal is to continually expand its programming and community partnerships to provide services that meet the need of families living on the Near Eastside of Indianapolis, within Westminster’s service area.
