At Westminster, we’re fortunate to have volunteers who bring heart, humility, and a quiet strength to our mission. And James No is one of them.

For just over a year, James has been a consistent and thoughtful presence, helping wherever he’s needed, whether it’s in the food pantry, soup kitchen, or during one of our biggest events of the year, Food Fight.

James was introduced to Westminster by staff member Elaine Taylor, and it didn’t take long for him to become an integral part of our volunteer family.

His favorite part of volunteering? The simple act of connecting with neighbors—offering a warm meal, a kind word, or a helping hand. One standout memory for James was being part of Food Fight 2023, seeing firsthand how a fun night of fundraising could translate into real impact for the community.

When he’s not volunteering, you might catch James biking around town, hanging out with friends, watching movies, or building intricate LEGO sets. We’re grateful for his generous spirit and the perspective he brings to Westminster.

Ready to make a difference? Whether you have a few hours a week or just want to get started, there’s a place for you here. Sign up to volunteer and become part of the Westminster community today!
