2023 Back to School Bash is just around the corner!

Westminster Neighborhood Services' ninth annual Back to School Bash is Sunday, July 29, 2023, from 10 am - 2 pm.
This is a community event where parents can bring their students and receive backpacks, school supplies, uniforms, and more!* Free lunch is provided to those that attend. No ID is required. Students must be present.
This huge event will require a lot of help from volunteers. If you'd like to volunteer with set up, click here. If you'd like to volunteer for the day of the event, click here.

Our pantry and warehouse have been scarce over the last several months. The start of summer means children are home from school, making the need for ways to supplement groceries even greater. We've compiled a wish list of items that our pantry urgently needs.

Toilet Paper

Canned Fruit

Cereal
-
Soup
-
Household Cleaning Products

Dish Soap
-
Laundry Detergent

Grocery Bags for neighbors to bag items. ( We'll take your plastic bag stash off of your hands!)
This could be an excellent opportunity for your church or other organizations you're involved in to hold a drive. Or if you have a few items you'd like to donate personally, every item impacts our neighbors!
Recently, Anna, 11 years old, and her neighborhood friends Calvin, age 12, Pearl, age 9, and Marcus, age 9, collected food donations from their neighbors to donate to Westminster's pantry. Check out the photo of their donations here!
