Youth Workers Going Above and Beyond
Toney, a junior at Warren Central High School, was one of 25 individuals to receive the 2021 Excellence in Summer Service Education Award. The award is granted to individuals whose work ethic, teamwork, leadership, and job performance stood out from their peers throughout Marion County. On behalf of the Indy Summer Youth Programs funding collaborative, each individual receives a $1,000 educational stipend.
Toney is involved in Warren Central's culinary arts program, which he plans to continue studying after high school! Over the course of the summer program Toney utilized his culinary skills by helping prepared our Westminster kiddos breakfast each morning. Not only was he a rock star in the kitchen, but he was always there to provide support for other staff members, and he was able to connect with students one on one.
Our Westminster youth workers consistently prove to be nothing short of amazing - we are always proud! Learn more at 2021 Excellence in Summer Service Education | WNS (westmin.org).

2021 Christmas Baskets
In less than three months we will be supplying hundreds of families with Christmas! All families receive food for a holiday dinner, two weeks worth of groceries, hygiene items, and hats, socks, and gloves for everyone in the family. Each child also receives two gifts!
We need your help now more than every this year! Possible toy shortage could mean over-priced and high demand toys. Be on the lookout to sponsor a child's stocking, or donate today to help us give these kiddos the gift of Christmas!
Giving Back
Shreya, an 8th grader from Park Tudor, volunteered with us at our Saturday Food Pantry. She started a charity called Soup for Souls, makes custom water bottles, and donates the money she makes to local organizations! We love seeing kids like Shreya giving back to their community.
