August 2021 Newsletter

Welcome Westminster High School Students!
This year Westminster is very excited to offer a High School After School Program; providing career awareness, career exploration, and career preparation.
High School Program Coordinator, Olivia Stewart, says, “Most importantly, our goal is to create a safe space that supports healthy social and emotional development among our students. Whether their projected pathway is enrollment, enlistment, or employment, it is my goal to support our students and their interests.”
This program will allow our youth services program to have more of a communal impact by serving all K-12 students and their intended pathways in high school and beyond. The benefits of attending after school programs are crucial for students from historically underserved backgrounds and families living at or near the poverty line because these programs can encompass work-based learning experiences and, in turn, creating more equitable outcomes.

Double Your Impact!
Thanks to a generous donor, your donations will be matched through the month of August!
Help us continue to pour into our community and love our neighbors.
“Love one another and help others to rise to the higher levels, simply by pouring out love. Love is infectious and the greatest healing energy.”

2021 Back to School Bash
